This year’s Dance Team has been working hard to get on that football field. Long August practices have paid off because the members of the Bomberette Dance Team just finished their second performance under the lights. During the summer the Bomberettes practice 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Most people do not know how much time each girl contributes to the team. During football season, after school the girls practice 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., except for on Thursdays, where they practice 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The new girls aren’t so new anymore as they fit in with all the old girls and begin to dance as a whole. Nicki Severino, Captain, said, “It was a rocky start, but beating Chardon was definitely an accomplishment. I really hope we can come back and beat Chagrin and West G! It’ll be a good season!” The shows were choreographed by Captains Nicki Severino and Leah Grcevich, followed by Co-Captains Katie Gross and Selina Wilkerson. The rest of the team include, Danielle Apple, Macie Biermann, Jenna Blackburn, Breanna Bodak, Amelia Chantler, Victoria Clawson, Mira Grcevich, Gabrielle Groff, Hayley Harris, Lauren Parker, Maria Severino, Monaya Stanley, Rylie Terrion, Taylor Tucholski, LaJoy Williams, and Graycen Wood.
