Any students who participated in Principal’s Leadership Council last year: please meet outside the main office on Wednesday, September 3 during Homeroom to talk about plans for this year.

There is a student council meeting in Mrs. Leone’s room A110 on Wednesday, September 3rd. We will be discussing plans for Homecoming…new members are always welcome! See Mrs. Leone for info if you cannot attend.

CLEVELAND BROWN FOUNDATION MARION MOTLEY SCHOLARSHIP is now available. Co-sponsored by College Now Greater Cleveland, the scholarship is for students who plan a career in education or working in a variety of capacities for a professional sports organization. Requirements are a minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa, minimum 18 on the ACT or 860 on math and verbal on the SAT (taken before Sept. 30, 2014) and financial need. Students must clearly articulate academic and career goals, service to the community, maturity and motivation. Students need not be student athletes. Detailed instructions are available in Guidance. If you enjoy trivia and want to show off your stuff, come join the Trivia Club for its first meeting after school this Friday in Koltas’ room C138. Hope to see you there! Attention CEC members, anyone interested in running for an officer’s position must get information to Ms. Englehart ASAP. There will be a CEC meeting Wednesday during homeroom, in room A107 to vote on officers. Any questions please see Ms. Englehart.

Do you like food? How about hanging out with friends and learning a little something? Come to Spanish Club on Tuesday September 9th in Mrs. Scola’s room, C215, for some fun and culture. All are welcome, no matter how much Spanish you know.

How would you like to be part of an underground sports ring? Well, with Kenston Underground Bocce Ball League now you can be. Our season begins this Friday, September 5th.

Ever wonder what it’s like to be part of the coolest club at Kenston? Then become part of the Kenston Underground Unicycle League, ‘Cause it’s cool to be part of K.U.U.L. Classes begin Thursday, September 4th.

Kenston Varsity Football has it’s home opener this Friday against Chardon! Tailgate mania begins with the Kickoff Classic that starts at 4:30 with music, food and other games and activities. The theme is a “BLUE-OUT” so be sure to wear your Bomber blue shirts and paint your faces. The goal is have a sea of blue in the home stands especially in the Kenston Krazy student section.

Blue Kenston t-shirts are available to purchase for $10 in the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday and Friday. Stop by the table. (whoever is reading can model the t-shirts by wearing them during the broadcast)

There will be a meeting for all girls who are planning on playing Basketball with Coach Hinkle on Wednesday, September 3rd during homeroom in the cafeteria. If you are planning on playing, you need to be at this meeting

Morning Open Weight Room sessions will begin tomorrow morning and will last from 6am to 6:50am These open weight room sessions are open to anybody and will be three days a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays going forward. See you in the morning
