Are you interested in video games, anime, or pop culture? Then join KGAP! Our first meeting is in Mr. Mason’s room this Friday, September 5th from 2:30-3:30. See you there!

Before the latest addition to future World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers (hopeful thinking on the part of this writer) was famous for double-doubling, what was his family “loved” for in another field of entertainment? Come check out the Trivia Club this Friday in C138 to see if you have what it takes to “hang-10” with the competition. Today’s answers is Kevin Love’s uncle and cousins were the founding members of the Beach Boys.

Do you like food? How about hanging out with friends and learning a little something? Come to Spanish Club on Tuesday September 9th in Mrs. Scola’s room, C215, for some fun and culture. All are welcome, no matter how much Spanish you know.

Students interested in participating with Kenston Center Stage this year, information has been posted on our website off the KHS homepage under “extracurriculars.”

All seniors who were previously a member of Principal’s Leadership Council, there will be a meeting Next Monday,September 8, at 7:15 AM to talk about this year’s plans.

Ever wonder what it’s like to be part of the coolest club at Kenston? Then become part of the Kenston Underground Unicycle League, ‘Cause it’s cool to be part of K.U.U.L. CLEVELAND BROWN FOUNDATION MARION MOTLEY SCHOLARSHIP is now available. Co-sponsored by College Now Greater Cleveland, the scholarship is for students who plan a career in education or working in a variety of capacities for a professional sports organization. Requirements are a minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa, minimum 18 on the ACT or 860 on math and verbal on the SAT (taken before Sept. 30, 2014) and financial need. Students must clearly articulate academic and career goals, service to the community, maturity and motivation. Students need not be student athletes. Detailed instructions are available in Guidance. ATHLETICS:

Kenston Varsity Football has it’s home opener this Friday against Chardon! Tailgate mania begins with the Kickoff Classic that starts at 4:30 with music, food and other games and activities. The theme is a “BLUE-OUT” so be sure to wear your Bomber blue shirts and paint your faces. The goal is have a sea of blue in the home stands especially in the Kenston Krazy student section. Blue Kenston t-shirts are available to purchase for $10 in the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday and Friday. Stop by the table. (whoever is reading can model the t-shirts by wearing them during the broadcast)

Morning Open Weight Room sessions will begin tomorrow morning and will last from 6am to 6:50am These open weight room sessions are open to anybody and will be three days a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays going forward. See you in the morning.
