With the snow leaving and the warm weather arriving the anticipation for the baseball season begins to grow. Coming off of a successful season last year after getting a share of the CVC championship the team looks to build upon the talent they have and replace the seniors that were lost. After losing six seniors from last year’s team they look to fill the big holes. Senior captain Sam Obringer said, “We lost some big talent from last year, but I am confident that guys will step up and fill those roles.” Coming off of a 12-10 overall record and a 7-3 record in the CVC they look to improve. With last year’s rotation of Pete Rozman, Anthony Hajdu, and Nathan Blake all graduating the team will turn to this year’s seniors to anchor the staff. Seniors Ben Princic and Brad Davis will be the go to seniors pitchers with junior Chad Linder there for support. Even though the pitching rotation took a hit, the overall team has grown and they look to claim the CVC championship once again. With the majority of the infield being returning starters the only blank space there is third base, where the Bombers have several players who could be put there.
