The Girls’ Swim and Dive team has kicked off the season with a great lead. Their record so far this season is 7-2 and they hope to finish with a record of 8-2. They recently had their Chagrin Valley Conference meet and finished fourth overall. Not only did they finish fourth, but they also had many personal bests. Kayla Korenowski won the 50 freestyle event with a time of 25.37 seconds. “It is such an amazing feeling to win my favorite event during my senior year. It has been a goal of mine throughout high school to win this event so I am more than thrilled,” said Kayla. The girls are very excited for the upcoming sectional meet in a few weeks and are expecting many more personal records.
