The Kenston Gymnastics season is coming to a close. The team successfully finished their CVC meet placing second to West Geauga. They are looking forward to their sectional meet coming up on February 15th and are training hard to beat West Geauga. A few of the gymnasts on the team are trying to upgrade skills so they can score higher at sectionals. Higher scores will give the competitors a chance to make it to districts. The three seniors, Sammy Hajdu, Dom Kestranek, and Brooke Mostar, all have mixed feelings about their gymnastics career coming to an end. They are excited for college but going to miss competing with their teammates and friends. The coach Nicole Martorello, said, “We worked hard this season and I am proud of all the girls for their constant effort and positive attitudes.” Wish the team good luck at sectionals!
