Teachers often do not receive enough credit for all the time, work, and effort they put into teaching their students. This being said, the beloved Mrs. Wirthwein should be recognized! Mrs. Wirthwein, a college graduate from Miami University, has been a teacher in the Kenston Community for twelve years. In these many years she has taught the following courses: AP European History, AP U.S. History, and World History. Her classes this semester consist mostly of freshmen and sophomores. Not only does Mrs. Wirthwein teach at Kenston, but she also helps in the Kenston Middle School Productions. She has been a crucial part in the success of these plays for nine years. Mrs. Wirthwein is known for her enthusiasm in the classroom, love for her students, and great patience in helping students strive to do their best. Kate Blackburn said, “Mrs. Wirthwein is one of my favorite teachers! Her positive energy just makes the class fun.”
