Much preparation is underway to stage the beloved Disney classic, Mary Poppins. The story follows the extraordinary story about how Mary Poppins forever changes the lives of two young children. The two children get more than they bargained for when their new nanny takes them to new heights in London meeting new people, including the chimney sweeper Bert. Musical numbers including, Jolly Holiday, Chim Chim Cher-ee, A Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Step in Time, Let’s Go Fly a Kite and more will be brought to life by an incredible ensemble and the dedicated crew.

The ensemble features:
Will McKnight, Benjamin J. Poe, Catherine Zickert, Dayle Foster, Jake Spencer, Ryan Conover, Ashley Bernett, Lukas Palumbo, Ben Blazek, Nathan Wasinski, Chantell Clayton, Lauren Zucker, Cassie Holub, Molly Pavilonis, Kaitlin McGrath, Jon Licata, Kendall Duncan, Matthew Ballard, Jenna Blackburn, Kate Blackburn, Sophia Dennis, Jake Gratto, Payton Hulsinger, Shannon Kane, Kiara Kestranek, Georgeanna Oxford, Riley Potts, Andrea Rengers, Drew Sanders, Ellie Schabel, Lovell Spruce, Emily Stephens, Austin Yeary, Euneata Walker, and Maria Weil.

“I believe the musical will be a huge success and entertain a large audience,” said cast member Lovell Spruce.

Cast member Kate Blackburn said, “I believe this will be our best show yet! The cast has shown substantial growth in both our vocal and dancing abilities. It should be great!”

The show will feature vibrant costumes, playful sets, plenty of joyful musical, and even some flying scenes. Kenston Center Stage hopes everyone can come and support the show when the curtain opens on Friday, April 17th. The show is “practically perfect in every way.”
