Although on Friday Kenston High School had a snow day, the AD’s of both schools decided to cancel the hockey game because of the weather issues, but neither of the teams were okay with it. The boys fought for hours to make sure the game was back on, so they could beat their rivals and get another win for their season. All their heart and dedication shined through when fighting for the game, so the game came back on making everyone anxious and excited and making the game even more incredible. Mr. C said, ” I’ve been going to the pond since hockey first began a sport at Kenston; This was by far the biggest crowd we’ve ever had.” Mr. Pierce said, “We had receipts for over 700 people. A record breaker.”
With one of the biggest games of the season the Kenston Hockey Team kept the rivalry going with a win over Chagrin Falls High School. The boys dominated the victory with a win of 4 to 2 on Friday January, 30. The boys prepared all season for this game and had been getting pumped up since the beginning of the week. Their hard work and dedication paid off beating Chagrin Falls once again!
