Spring Sports are approaching fast, while Winter Sports are grinding to a screeching halt. Girls Basketball, Wrestling and Boys Basketball are all celebrating senior nights during this week. The girls are playing in stride right now and currently have a record of 10-9 with a record of 6-2 in the CVC. Wrestling is also doing well with a record of 8-3 and finishing 3rd in the CVC tournament over the weekend of February 6th. After facing a tough loss at home versus our rivals from down the road, the Boys’ Basketball team is on a hot streak winning all four of their last games by an average of 18 points. Jimmy Artale and Bernie Porter were quoted saying, “After playing basketball for so many years, it’s surreal that senior night is already upon us. We have been waiting for this moment for a long time now.”
All Kenston Krazies should show up, loud and proud of our seniors that have made it this far. This will be their last season as a Bomber and their last few games in the Chagrin Valley Athletic Conference. So come to the games or meets, and let’s show some support for our seniors this year, and hopefully cheer them on to victory.
