The Ohio High School Boys’ Basketball state tournament starts with a wide variety of games on March 4th. The Kenston Bombers also start their tournament run that Wednesday with a home game against the Glenville Tarblooders. This game is a sectional semifinal game, and if the Bombers win this game they will play the Brush Arcs at home again on March 7th. When asked about the game, senior player Jimmy Artale said, “This could be our last game of the season, so we have to come out with a lot of intensity and create the tempo. We have been pretty hot lately, so I feel pretty confident about our chances of winning the game. It is our home court, so hopefully we can get the Kenston Krazies to the game to cheer us on!”
The Bombers are coming off a big win against Perry as they won a share of the CVC Chagrin title. The Bombers are currently on an eight game winning streak and hope to continue winning games and make a run at the state title. Good luck Bombers!
