This past weekend, our Kenston Boys Wrestling team went to the district tournament that took place at Mentor High School. Lovell Spruce, Anthony Pavone, Christopher Pavone, Joby Herbruck and Noah Georgian all qualified for the district tournament. This tournament is known as “The Meat Grinder” because of the difficulty level. Noah Georgian came out with a second place finish, which landed his spot for the state tournament. Georgian won 3 matches, landing him in the finals and then lost to a junior wrester from Mayfield. Noah goes down to Columbus Thursday, Friday and Saturday to compete for the state title.
“The Bulldog came in like a wrecking ball”, said Coach Murphy.
