Kenston 3 ~ West Jessamine 4

Monday March 30th, 2015 1 pm
@ Historic DodgerTown Field, Vero Beach, FL

Kenston senior captain Jimmy Artale hit a 2-out, 2-run double to left center in the top half of the 6th inning, to tie the game, but it was not enough to hold off powerful West Jessamine from Kentucky in the bottom of the 7th for a 4-3 Bomber loss at the Historic Dodgertown in Vero Beach, FL. The game was a well-played game by both teams. West Jessamine is one of the top rated teams in Kentucky. Bomber junior Chad Lindner, started on the mound for Kenston and pitched a very good game – surrendering 2 singles and a double to start the game then settled down and did not allow a run until the bottom of the 7th ; Lindner took the tough loss and his 1st of the season. Kenston dropped to 1-1, while West Jessamine improves to 12-4 on the season.
