Kenston junior captains Adam Bush and Sam Obringer were a combined 5 for 8 at the plate leading the Bombers to a 10-4 victory over Fairmont, WV at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC. Kenston spotted Fairmont 4 runs on the top of the first inning, but from there, outscored Fairmont 10-0 the rest of the game. Kenston out hit Fairmont 12-4, led by Bush with 3 hits, Obringer, senior captain Peter Rozman, and sophomore Barret Weber with 2 hits apiece. Obringer drove in 3 runs for Kenston; senior captain Anthony Hadju and Rozman each knocked in 2 runs apiece for the Bombers. Hadju started on the hill for Kenston, and was relieved by junior Ben Princic and sophomore Chad Lindner, who shut down Fairmont the rest of the way. Princic earned his first varsity win, with Lindner picking up the save. Kenston improves to 5-3, while Fairmont, WV drops to 14-3 on the season.
