Kenston scored 7 runs in the top of the 4th inning, keyed by 2-run hits by junior Jake Silbermann, senior Michael Rosinski, and senior captain Peter Rozman, leading Kenston to a 12-5 victory over Orange at Kenston HS. Kenston scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st, but that lead did not last, as Orange senior Ryan Willen blasted a 3-run home run in the bottom half of the 1st to tie the game. Junior Jimmy Artale blasted a home run, a solo shot in the 7th, his first of the year. Kenston out hit Orange 11-8, led by Artale’s 3 hits, while senior captain Anthony Hajdu and Rosinski each chipped in with 2 hits. Orange senior Andrew Moyal stayed hot and had 2 of the 8 Orange hits. Rozman, Silbermann, and Rosinski each drove in 2 runs apiece for Kenston. Willen drove in 3 runs for Orange. Junior Ben Princic started for the Bombers on the hill and picked up his 2nd win of the year; Moyal started for Orange and picked up his 3rd loss of the year. Kenston improves to 10-4 and 6-0 in CVC play, while Orange drops to 2-9 and 1-7 in CVC action.
