Kenston junior Jimmy Artale went 3 for 4, homered, and drove in 5 runs leading Kenston to a 14-0 victory over Maple Heights in tournament play at Kenston High School Field.  Kenston scored 9 times in the bottom of the 4th inning, keyed by 6 hits and 5 walks; big hits in the inning include doubles by junior Jake Silbermann and junior captain Adam Bush, and Artale’s 2-run homerun blast.  Kenston outhit Maple Heights 11-3, led by Artale’s and sophomore Barret Weber’s 3 hits each.  After Artale’s 5 RBIs, Weber plated 3 runs, while Bush drove in 2 runs for the Bombers.  Kenston sophomore Chad Lindner started on the bump for the Bombers to go the distance to earn his first victory of the season.   Maple Height starter Brown picked-up the loss.  Kenston improves to 12-6, while Maple Heights drops to 2-15 in the season.
