Kenston scored 6 runs in the top half of the 6th inning, on 2 hits, leading to a 7-4 victory over Berkshire at the Beat Cancer Classic at Kent State University Field.  The Bombers benefited by 5 freebies by Berkshire – 2 walks, 1 hit batter, and 2 errors – in the deciding 6th inning.  Berkshire actually outhit Kenston 7 to 5, with Smetana and Deluca each collecting 2 hits apiece; senior captain Peter Rozman and sophomore Barrett Weber each had 2 hits for Kenston.  Deluca also had 2 RBI for Berkshire.  Freshmen Christian Cassaro started on the bump for the Bombers, but junior Tyler Rendlesham picked up his first win of the year in relief.  Berkshire starter Bresnahan pitched well, but picked up the tuff loss after pitching into the 6th.  Kenston improves to 8-4, while Berkshire drops to 7-8.
