Kenston junior Barrett Weber was 3-3, driving in 4 runs, leading the Bombers to a 11-1 victory over Orange at Kenston varsity high school field. The top of the Bomber line-up – senior captain Adam Bush, freshmen Mathew Pecoraro, Weber, and senior captain Jimmy Artale – combined to score all 11 of the Kenston runs and had an on-base-percentage of 813 for the game. Kenston out-hit Orange 11-5, led by Weber’s 3 hits, while Pecoraro had 2 hits. Posner had 2 hits for Orange. In addition to Weber’s 4 RBI, junior Matt Shell and senior Tyler Rendlesham each drove in 2 runs. Kenston junior Chad Lindner started on the hill, going 5 innings, yielding just 1 earned run on 5 hits to earn his first win of the season. Blum started for Orange and suffered the loss. Kenston improves to 5-6 and 3-2 in CVC play, while Orange drops to 1-10 on the season, and 0-5 in CVC action.
