On Saturday, April 25, 2015, the Kenston Track Team traveled to Amherst to participate in the annual Comet Relays. With 25 teams competing, this is the largest meet the Bombers will participate in during the regular season. Facing teams like St. Ignatius, Berea-Midpark, and Mentor, it is also one of the most competition packed events the Bombers will participate in during the season. Overall, the Boys track team took 10th and the Girls team took 13th. Both teams had very strong athletes in a lot of events and some highlights include the girls 4×1600 taking 4th out of 17 teams and on the boys side, Lovell Spruce taking 3rd overall in the 110 high hurdles. When asked about the meet, Hailey LaFrance said, “The team did a great job and I’m really proud of the outcome.” The Bombers travel to Orange on Friday and Mentor Saturday.
