What year did you start at Kenston?: 2006
Why did you become a teacher?: I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. My older sister is in education (teacher and now principal) and I knew watching her path that it was for me.
Why did you choose your discipline?: I didn’t know I wanted to be a Special Education Teacher until my Freshman year at Kent State, where I had a very influential professor, Dr. Zuckerman. He encouraged me to take an intro class and from there I was hooked!
What hobbies / interests do you have?: Book Club, Euchre Club, and crocheting
What is your favorite food?: Toaster Strudels
What is your favorite Movie or TV show?: Disney Classics
What is your favorite book?: Beautiful Child, Torey Hayden
Where is your favorite place to travel?: Anywhere on a beach!
