THURSDAY: TUXEDOS FOR PROM: Attention Junior and Senior Gentlemen who plan on wearing a tuxedo to Prom. Are you dreading the thought of dragging yourself to the store to get fitted for your tux. Well, you have to go no further than the cafeteria! That’s right, American Commodore of Solon will be here at KHS for ONE DAY ONLY during lunch on Thursday, April 12th to take your tuxedo orders for Prom. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Please have your $40 deposit ready to place your order. Tuxedos will be delivered to the school at the end of the day on Wednesday, May 2nd –a couple days before Prom. What a deal!

AFTERPROM FASHION SHOW Friday, April 20th and 7 p.m., KHS Auditorium
The theme this year is Cinco de Mayo so make sure you gather your groups! The JUNIORS are to wear casual attire and the SENIORS are to wear formal attire. Don’t miss out on participating in this fun event with your classmates. The Fashion Show is put on by PTO as a fundraiser to make Afterprom the best it can be. The money raised is used to provide food, make decorations, and fund entertainment, like a hypnotist as an example! Afterprom is important because it provides a safe, secure place for students to be, since Prom night is one of the most dangerous nights of the year” says Gabrielle Powell, junior. If you are a junior or senior and are interested in being a part of the Fashion Show on, sign-ups are Tuesday 3/20, Wednesday 3/21, and Thursday 3/22 in the cafeteria during lunch. Maximum number of students per group is 20.
PROM: The 2018 Prom will be held from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 5, 2018 at Embassy Suites in Independence and is open to all juniors and seniors and their guests. Permission forms are required for all guests who are not Kenston High School students at both the Prom and Afterprom. Afterprom will be held at the high school from 11:00pm – 3:30am (students must arrive by midnight in order to attend Afterprom).

SENIORS: Thursday, April 12th, 2018 at 6:30 pm, the LEAF “Senior Session” will explain the ins and outs of a student’s college experience, including how to prevent taking the five-year track, what different departments they will be dealing with throughout college, and transitioning from high school to college. Geauga Park District hosts a Nature Writing Contest with prizes of $50, $25 and $15 for teens. Look for the “Bomber Hangar” sandwich board sign outside those doors!
If you’re not able to visit The Bomber Hangar’s retail store, you can still shop through our SPRING ORDER FORM, featuring brand new items and a few great basics! You are encouraged to contact Christine Riscili at 717-991-0973 with any product questions. We are happy to help you select the correct sizes and explain features about each product! Order forms and payment are due to the main office of your child’s building by Wednesday, April 18th. Merchandise deliveries will be made by Friday, May 4th.
