Game to watch: The Bombers fell flat last year in a loss to Mayfield. That loss kept Kenston out of the playoffs. They meet again Sept. 28.

Outlook

Everything is set up for the Bombers to potentially hang a league championship banner on the wall and get into the playoffs. They have a marquee QB on Tomcufcic, an All-Ohioan RB in Porter and a talented receiving group that operates behind a big offensive line. Points shouldn’t be a problem. Nine starters return on defense, too. In short, this could be a year to remember if they stay healthy.

Player to watch

Jack Porter is a first team All-Ohioan at running back. With the big line and the spread offense, there should be plenty of running lanes for another huge year.

Underclassman to watch: Jon Tomcufcic took over the reins at QB as a sophomore. He’s a seasoned veteran now.
