Student Driving In Winter

On November 9th, we had our first snowfall. I woke up to white covering the ground! Although this is very exciting news, our student drivers have to be very careful. Each morning it will  get colder and more dangerous, because it will be very slippery outside. Along with snow there will be ice on the road and many drivers, especially people new to driving will have to drive with caution. There are many more accidents that occur in the winter time. Along with it being more dangerous outside more students will be late to school, so wake up a little earlier! Elizabeth Roney said, “If the roads get to a point where young drivers should not be driving, we should not have school.” Her reasoning for this is that younger drivers are not as experienced and it may be more dangerous for them.
