Friday night is the Kickoff Classic and the FIRST TAILGATE PARTY OF THE YEAR starting at 5pm. We will be recognizing our FIRST RESPONDERS, so wear your RED, WHITE & BLUE to show your support.

The first Business Club Meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday, September 4 during homeroom in Mr. Kepreos’s room (C223). It is a great resume builder and we will be doing a lot of fun things like a dodgeball tournament – so you won’t want to miss out!

Attention students! The Spanish Club will have its first meeting Wednesday, September 4 during homeroom in Mrs. Scola’s room! We do great things and want you to join us! Come check us out!

The first meeting of Russian Club will be on Wednesday, September 4th during homeroom in Mr. Krejsa’s room C220. All are welcome.

Bocce Club Information: The Bocce club is starting soon! Bocce club starts on Friday, 9/6 and costs only $3/week. Sign up with Kenston Community Education asap!

SENIORS, REQUIRED VACCINE: All seniors are required to have proof of the meningococcal vaccine on file in the clinic PRIOR TO the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. By state law, students will not be allowed to stay in school longer than 14 school days unless proof has been received on all required immunizations. Note: students who had the first dose prior to age 16 must have the second dose before entering 12th grade. Documentation can be a signed note from the physician’s office or an immunization summary printout. Proof must include the month, day, and year of the dose. Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 5th. *Students will not be allowed in the building after September 5th.

Picture Make-up Day: Tuesday, September 24th in the Band Room.

Senior Yearbook Photo: All seniors should plan to take advantage of the FREE session for Senior Picture for the Yearbook on Tuesday, Sept. 24th (10–1:00 PM, Band Room). Ripcho will be here to take a complimentary, professional picture—sorry, you cannot purchase this picture, it is for the yearbook only. Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. The Kenston Academy will be available after school in “The Hub” Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

LOST & FOUND ITEMS: Please stop by the Main Office if you have lost something or if you have found something that someone has lost. Our drawers already have things from this year– jewelry, planner, sweatshirts and more. If you lost something that hasn’t been found yet, fill out a form so we can notify you when it’s found!
