• You are to take your book bags and belongings to Block 4.

• You will be dismissed at the conclusion of the Assembly.
Are you ready for some football!!!!! Tonight is a big night for Kenston Football as our first Home game of the season kicks off. Don’t feel like standing in the long ticket line? Get a jump ahead by purchasing your tickets TODAY from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm in the ATHLETIC OFFICE, just around the corner from the cafeteria. Don’t forget it’s Spirit Day! Wear red white and blue to the game as we honor and support our local first responders at the game!!! Don’t forget your perishable goods donation!!!!
A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior Yearbook Photo: All seniors should plan to take advantage of the FREE session for Senior Picture for the Yearbook on Tuesday, Sept. 24th (10–1:00 PM, Band Room). Ripcho will be here to take a complimentary, professional picture—sorry, you cannot purchase this picture, it is for the yearbook only. Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: firstname.lastname@example.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Any students interested in doing some volunteer tutoring with the Young Scholars program though Chagrin Falls Park please pick up an application in guidance. You can earn service hours working with this program as well.
Seniors – VFW Chagrin Falls Post is offering an essay contest with a $1,000 prize for first and two $500 honorable mention awards. Essays of 500 words or less on “What Does Veterans Day Mean to Me?” See Guidance for more information.

New Standardized Test Prep for SAT/ACT/PSAT for grades 10-12 is being offered by Mr. Marchesi and Mr. Koltas through Kenston Community Education. Classes begin Monday, September 9th and are held every Monday through October 14th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the KHS Hub. Registration forms are available in the Guidance Office.
