You are going to LOVE this… will it be Mrs. White in the kitchen with the rope? Colonel Mustard in the billiard room with the wrench? Professor Plum in the study with the lead pipe? Oh the possibilities???? Kenston Center Stage is presenting the play Clue. Performances are Saturday, October 12th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Sunday October 13th at 2:00 pm. For only $5, Kenston students can see the 2:00 performance on Saturday!!!

Please help support Interact by participating in the October Food Drive. Bring any non-perishable items to your first block class, winners will receive free donuts.

French students (especially those who will be in the AP class this spring) there are a few spots left for the trip to Quebec Over spring break! Please see Mrs. Wahl asap if you’re interested in going!

The Pulse Writing Club is meeting Thursday, October 10th. All types of creative writers are welcome to join Ms. Joyce in room A113 at 2:20.

Attention all writers and artists (and those who love good writing and art)!! Janus, Kenston’s award winning student literary and art magazine, is looking for editors for this year’s issue. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, October 8 at 2:20 in room A119. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Marchesi in room A119.

Join the Kenston Swim & Dive Team! Swim Team tryouts are October 25th @2:45pm at the CVAC pool. Dive team practices start October 25th at Solon High School Natatorium. Final Forms must be completed to participate. Divers also need to register with American Flyers Diving. Please contact Coach KC with any questions: kari.collier@kenstonapps.org

A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Solon Community Center Aquatics is hiring lifeguards after school and weekends. Applicants must be at least 15 and hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate. You may apply without a certification and, if hired, be required to take the certification at no cost through the Solon Community Center. They are hiring staff for summer 2020 now. See Guidance for more information.

Any students interested in doing some volunteer tutoring with the Young Scholars program though Chagrin Falls Park please pick up an application in guidance. You can earn service hours working with this program as well.

Seniors – VFW Chagrin Falls Post is offering an essay contest with a $1,000 prize for first and two $500 honorable mention awards. Essays of 500 words or less on “What Does Veterans Day Mean to Me?” See Guidance for more information.

Protect Geauga Parks offers three $1,000 scholarships for those majoring in natural or environmental sciences. Guidelines are available in Guidance. The scholarship requires an essay and 2 letters of recommendation. The deadline 6:00 PM Oct. 6, 2019.
