Accomplishments For Girls Volleyball

In this past volleyball season, three people have reached a big milestone in their volleyball careers. The first person to reach theirs was senior Marcie Oglesbee, the teams setter. She has recently reached her 1,000th assist of her high school career. Marcie has been on varsity since her sophomore year. She has been named team MVP and First Team All Conference. The next person to reach their milestone was senior outside hitter Rachel Apshago. She reached her 500th kill of her high school journey. She has played varsity all four years. Rachel is a two-time All Conference winner. The final person to reach their milestone was senior Abby Bednar. Abby is also one of the team’s outside hitters. She played one year of junior varsity as a freshman and has played on varsity since. She has been named Honorable Mention All-Ohio and Honorable Mention WRC. We are very proud of these girls as they work very hard on and off of the court.
