Browns Looking to Make a Run for the AFC North

The Cleveland Browns will face their toughest matchup of the season against the Patriots in Foxborough this upcoming Sunday. The Patriots currently have a 19-game winning streak when playing at home. The Browns only have two wins through six games which is not what the fans were hoping for. The New England Patriots have looked completely unstoppable; although, their schedule has been one of the easiest in the NFL. The inconsistent offense of the Browns will likely have a difficult time scoring against the best defense in the league. The of return players like Rashard Higgins, Greedy Williams, and Denzel Ward may give the team a better chance to win. Another glimmer of hope is the Browns have had an extra week to prepare for the high powered Patriots.

Senior Matt Fantauzzo said, “If the Browns want to start winning games, Freddie Kitchens needs to start running the offense through Nick Chubb.”

Once the game against the Patriots is over, the Browns should be smooth sailing for the rest of the season based on the teams they play. If they can capitalize on the lack of talent they will be playing, the Browns could possibly make a run for the division. For this to happen, they would most likely also need the help of the first place team, the Baltimore Ravens.
