Attention Bomber Nation: Hop on the FREE Spirit Bus to the Cross Country State Meet this Saturday at 8:45 am. You get free entry and lunch! Sign up during lunch today!!!

Get into the Halloween Spirit with all types of goodies and treats along with the chance to win small prizes like gift cards and phone wallets for one dollar! Business Club will sell The BOO BAGS during lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Items will be handed out during 4th block on Thursday.

The Drum Out for the Cross Country Team is 2:00 on Thursday! Let’s cheer them on as they go to States!!!!

Looking for something fun to do? Bomber Bash is November 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for a night of music, games, hula dancing, and so much more! Please pick up a packet in the main office if you are interested in supporting this great cause!

After Popular Demand and feedback from PEAK ambassadors as well as members from Principal’s Leadership the Good Spirit of Music will be brought back on Friday’s as well certain “themed” days. Remember when you first heard music was during StartWithHelloWeek which supported a kind and positive approach to reaching out to other students who might be struggling with issues. Playlists are being accepted in the main office please participate and submit a playlist of 4 songs or more.

There will be a meeting of the Russian Club today during homeroom in Mr. Krejsa’s room, C220. See you there.

Thursday is Halloween! You are allowed to wear a costume to school – BUT – it must follow the school dress code and NO MASKS and/or weapons.

The Kenston Academy will be closed on Thursday, October 31st.

Cultures Without Borders will be celebrating the Day of the Dead by watching the movie “Coco.” All are welcome to join us Friday after school in room C141. Bring snacks.

Please help support Interact by participating in the October Food Drive. The food drive will end on November 1st, so bring in those items!

A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. The November 1 deadline for certain college applications is approaching quickly. If you need a recommendation letter and haven’t asked for one to date, do it today! Give the teacher and/or counselor time to write the recommendation letter. If you wait too long, they may not be able to accommodate your request.

Attention Seniors: Guidance still needs your diploma name and record consent forms. **Transcripts cannot be sent without the record request on file**

Bank of America Student Leaders program is for juniors and seniors who lead and serve their communities. Four students in the Greater Cleveland area will receive an 8-week paid internship with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for the leadership summit.
