Good Luck to Cross Country Team this weekend as they go to States!!!!

Bomber Bash is A 12-hour event that raises money for kids with life-threatening illnesses. On November 23rd, we will host our 4th annual Bomber Bash from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Throughout the night, we will be having several fun activities including a surf simulator, beach volleyball, hula dancing, limbo and so much more! Come join the fun and sign up on-line NOW!

Want to win a Fitbit, Airpods, or a bluetooth speaker? All you need to do is take a picture of the 3 Geauga Copeline posters around your school as well as one you find in your community. To be entered, post them on twitter to @GPSEmpowered. (Hint: all say “Geauga Copeline”) AND follow @GPSEmpowered. Once you do, you will officially be entered in the contest! ● Get ready!!!! Wednesday, November 6 the entire school district will take part in the Family Ties. “Family Ties Nights” are evenings with NO HOMEWORK assigned, no athletic practices or games after 4:30 and no meetings or activities hosted in the district.

Did you like the music played yesterday? A huge thank you to Victor Agresta who supplied yesterday’s Halloween playlist. Playlists are being accepted in the main office. Please submit up to 4 songs.

Cultures Without Borders will be celebrating the Day of the Dead by watching the movie “Coco.” All are welcome to join us today after school in room C141. Bring snacks.

A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Bank of America Student Leaders program is for juniors and seniors who lead and serve their communities. Four students in the Greater Cleveland area will receive an 8-week paid internship with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for the leadership summit. Boys Basketball tryouts will begin Friday, November 1st at 5:00 PM. Anyone interested in trying out must be registered in FinalForms and have a valid physical on file with the Athletic Department. Attention all GIRLS interested in playing Lacrosse for the upcoming 2020 spring season. We will be holding a meeting on Thursday November 7th at 7:00 in the KHS AB room. Come meet the new coaches and hear everything involved in making it a great season!
