Today (Monday, 11/11), Mr. Tripi made his first snow day prediction of the year. Over the past few years, Mr. Tripi has had tremendous accuracy. At the first sign of a snow storm, students immediately go to Mr. Tripi in hopes of a favorable prediction. Mr. Tripi’s forecast quickly spreads around the high school and to the younger students at KMS. Senior Ben McGinnis says, “Tripi is a genius. His predictions are so spot on that sometimes I won’t even do my homework if he calls a snow day.” However, Mr. Tripi does have some skeptics. Jacob “Jakobie” Riscili says, “I don’t think we are going to have a snow day tomorrow. I think Mr. Tripi is wrong.” No matter how you feel about Mr. Tripi’s predictions, there is no doubt that they bring a lot of excitement to the student body. With a forecast of 6 to 12 inches of snow tomorrow, only time will tell if Mr. Tripi’s first prediction of the year will be a good one.
Update: 11/12/19 Mr. Tripi’s prediction was wrong.
