Today is World Kindness Day! Doing one act of kindness can make a difference in someone’s life!

Just a friendly reminder as the weather turns colder for students to make sure you are dressing appropriately for the weather. Students are encouraged to dress in layers. Coats and hats should be kept in lockers during the school day.

PEAK and Interact need your help to spread the holiday cheer by bringing in stocking stuffers. Donations can be made in any classroom and in guidance until Friday, November 15th. Suggested items are on the website.

The Pulse Writing Club is meeting on Thursday, November 14th, in A113. All creative writers are welcome. See Ms. Joyce in A113 if you have any questions.

Did you know that countries around the world use different forms of sign language, just like spoken language? Are you interested in learning more about our country’s American Sign Language? If so, please join us in room C143 on Wednesdays starting at 2:15pm. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Phipps.

The Spanish Club is meeting today during homeroom. We are kicking off our annual Pulsera project, so come by and find out how to get involved!

Are you in need of something to wear?! Well you’re in luck! The Bomber Hangar will be here, at KHS, on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Update your wardrobe with the latest Kenston attire!

Final Push for BomberBash: Don’t forget that fundraising money is due this Friday, November 15th. $50 minimum is required plus $10 registration. Don’t forget there are outstanding prizes for the top 5 fundraisers over $100 (Apple Watch, AirPods and an Apple Beat Pill wireless speaker). Also, the top class that raises the most, will get 10% of what they raise to their class fund. Let’s keep the money rolling in so we can hit our $10,000 goal!

The annual Bomber Bowl Game is at 4pm Saturday. Tickets will be sold at lunch or at the door for $5.00 and please bring canned goods.

A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Attention sophomore’s and interested freshman: Auburn Career Center visitation day is Wednesday, November 20th. Permission slips are available in the Guidance office. See Mr. Kimpton if you have any questions.

Any students looking for volunteer hours? Torchlight, formerly part of Big Brothers, Big Sisters, is looking for student volunteers to mentor younger students within the Kenston district. A representative will be in the cafeteria on Wednesday to provide information and answer any questions.

Anyone interested in joining the Wrestling team this year should come to a meeting with Coach Deubel on Wednesday, November 13th at 3:30 PM in the Wrestling Room.

LOST & FOUND ITEMS: Please stop by the Main Office if you have lost something or if you have found something that someone has lost. Items not claimed in the Main Office will be moved to the new Storage Bench by the Concession Stand in the Cafeteria.
