Just a friendly reminder that end-of-course testing kicks off tomorrow and will continue through next week. Tomorrow starts the English Testing. You will receive a testing ticket with your testing room information. Please report there first thing in the morning.

When your Thanksgiving meals have settled it will officially be time to focus on the four major food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup. Don’t be an angry elf – go see Kenston Center Stage’s production of Elf the Musical, Dec 5,6 and 7 at 7:00 pm in the Robert A Lee Auditorium. Tickets are available now – follow the link on the KHS website to purchase yours today!

Spread some Holiday cheer by bringing a new unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots. Help make the holidays bright for boys and girls by giving this holiday season. Place toys in the donation boxes that are in the main hallway, guidance office, or by the ticket office. Center Stage, National Honors Society and Interact thank you in advance for your generosity.

Like to sing carols and gain community service hours too? Join Interact on December 7th to help ring the bell for Salvation Army this holiday season. See Mrs. Brust in A117 to sign up.

Monday December 9th we will begin participation in the Rocket City Math League Competition. This competition is in 4 rounds. Round #1 is a 30 minute TEAM Challenge. We will complete this challenge during Homeroom on Monday December 9th. This is the same day as American Government AIR Test. Please be on time!!

Spanish Club is selling bracelets and bags during lunch for the next 2 weeks. Buy something nice and support local artists from Central America at the same time. For more information, see Mrs. Scola in C215.

A reminder that the Hub is open for anyone afterschool to get a head start on homework and studying. This also applies to anyone who needs extra help or tutoring through Kenston Academy. Times are Monday-Thursday from 2:20-3:20. No need to sign up, just come in!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: justin.fodor@kenstonapps.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. LEAF will hold a free session for high school juniors and their parents on Wednesday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeland Community College, room C-1011. Researching Colleges Online is an interactive session to show students how to research colleges extensively online. The session is free, but reservations are required and spaces are limited. Are you looking for a fun way to earn service hours? Gliding Stars of Northeast Ohio is looking for volunteers to help individuals with special needs ice skate! It is a 12-week program that will take place at Gilmour Academy every Sunday from January 19 through April 26. See Guidance for more information.

Students interested in being a 4-H Camp Counselor this summer at Camp Whitewood, pick up an application in Guidance. The camp runs June 14-19 and deadline to apply is Dec. 31, 2019. Details on the application form.

Having a bad day? Contemplating self harm? Stressed? Suicidal? The Copeline is there to help you with all of these things. Geauga Copeline is 24 hour assistance for anyone with mental health issues for you or a friend. Check out the signs throughout the building. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay.

LOST & FOUND ITEMS: Please stop by the Main Office if you have lost something or if you have found something that someone has lost. Items not claimed in the Main Office will be moved to the new Storage Bench by the Concession Stand in the Cafeteria.
