It is time once again to get in the holiday spirit, and PEAK’s annual door decorating contest is back! Homerooms are encouraged to decorate their classroom door in a holiday theme. Judging of the doors will take place after homeroom on Monday, December 16th. The winning homeroom will receive donuts in homeroom on Wednesday, December 18th. We are looking forward to seeing how creative you can be with your door this year!

The Silver Bells Holiday Boutique is Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. here at KHS! There are 82 professional vendors, a cookie sale, raffle baskets and musical entertainment by KMS. Bring a friend, a parent, relative or neighbor, and come get your holiday shopping done!
Spread some Holiday cheer by bringing a new unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots. Help make the holidays bright for boys and girls by giving this holiday season. Place toys in the donation boxes that are in the main hallway, guidance office, or by the ticket office. Center Stage, National Honors Society and Interact thank you in advance for your generosity.

Monday December 9th we will begin participation in the Rocket City Math League Competition. This competition is in 4 rounds. Round #1 is a 30 minute TEAM Challenge. We will complete this challenge during Homeroom on Monday December 9th. This is the same day as American Government AIR Test. Please be on time!!

Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: email@example.com or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Looking for community service hours? Torchlight is looking for student mentors and/or tutors to work with children from the Chagrin Falls Park. A representative will be in the cafeteria Thursday during lunch.
