KHS Ugly Sweater Day is coming on Friday! Wear your ugliest, tackiest decorated top. A prize will be awarded to one staff member and one student. Voting will happen the week of December 16th.

On Wednesday, December 18, Interact will be holding a Relaxation Station during homeroom and lunches in the AB room. Students and staff will be able to sign up for sessions including yoga, hand massage, paraffin wax treatments and/or a visit with our local therapy dog, Sammie. If you would like to participate, please sign up during lunches this week in the cafeteria or see an Interact representative in A117 during homeroom on Wednesday 12/11. Spaces are limited and they are available on a first come, first serve basis, so do not wait to sign up if you want to participate. Enjoy a little pampering to help prepare you for semester exams.

It is time once again to get in the holiday spirit, and PEAK’s annual door decorating contest is back! Homerooms are encouraged to decorate their classroom door in a holiday theme. Judging of the doors will take place after homeroom on Monday, December 16th. The winning homeroom will receive donuts in homeroom on Wednesday, December 18th. We are looking forward to seeing how creative you can be with your door this year!
Spread some Holiday cheer by bringing a new unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots. Help make the holidays bright for boys and girls by giving this holiday season. Senior portrait specifications for other Photographers: Size—no less than 300 dpi. Pose—only traditional full color portrait, head and shoulders only. Background—must be on the spectrum from cobalt to navy blue (no light blue). No hats, props, hands or inappropriate clothing. Submit your photograph electronically by email attachment to: firstname.lastname@example.org or on a CD. Under no circumstances will a senior portrait be scanned from a print. Mandel JCC in Beachwood hosts an indoor Triathlon and Biathlon Sunday, Feb. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student volunteers are needed to help with the kids triathlon. See Guidance for details if interested in earning community service hours.
