February 19, 2020

Hello all and welcome back to the first official Kenston NASCAR page where we will keep you up to date with all of the results from each week.

Good afternoon folks and we have great news, Ryan Newman has been treated and released from the hospital! He was able to walk out of the hospital under his own power with his children yesterday. He has been treated and released but he will not be racing this weekend at Las Vegas. Speaking of this weekend, it’s time to start the west coast swing with Las Vegas. The track is a 1.5 mile oval that is located in Las Vegas. There will also be a change to the #6 car this weekend and that change is that Ross Chastain will be driving instead of Ryan Newman. Thank you all for checking in on this new page and remember to keep coming back for more updates.

Hello all and welcome back to the first official Kenston NASCAR page where we will keep you up to date with all of the results from each week.

Good afternoon folks and welcome back from a great weekend with some even better racing! In this post I am going to do a quick rundown of the race then say the results. The race started with Ryan Newman and Brad Keselowski in the front row but quickly the Ford and Toyota drivers got into a single file line leaving the Chevrolet drivers to become there own single file line. The lines had stayed this way until the Chevrolet drivers decided to stay out and not pit while the Toyota’s and Ford’s came in and got fuel so they didn’t have to worry about running out of fuel. This split the groups so they were on the opposite sides of the track. After about 15 laps the Ford and Toyota drivers caught up to the Chevrolet drivers and Joey Logano tried to put a block on Kyle Busch causing the first incident caution of the day. The crash collected Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and Brad Keselowski. On the next restart Ryan Newman and William Byron both spun their tires and caused another wreck collecting 12 cars. On the next restart they made it to turn three where Denny Hamlin blew a right rear tire and starts “The Big One” collecting about 12 cars again. On the next restart they make it to turn three again where Chase Elliott spins Kyle Larson taking Chase Elliott out of the race. On the final restart there was only six out of the 18 cars still on the track. They manage to make it around the track twice to Finish the race and for Erik Jones to get his first Busch Clash win. The final results are as follows,

1. #20 Erik Jones Toyota

2. #3 Austin Dillon Chevrolet

3. #14 Clint Bowyer Ford

4. #42 Kyle Larson Chevrolet

5. #6 Ryan Newman Ford

6. #11 Denny Hamlin Toyota

7. #9 Chase Elliott Chevrolet

8. #12 Ryan Blaney Ford

Hello all and welcome back to the first official Kenston NASCAR page where we will keep you up to date with all of the results from each week.

Greetings fellow NASCAR fans and today we have some news regarding the Cup Series Aero package for 2020. There will be a low down force aero package for all of the short tracks and road courses. The changes include significantly smaller spoilers, splitters and other aerodynamic devices in an effort to place a greater emphasis on handling and driver input with less stabilizing down force on those tracks. The new aero package is very similar to the 2017-2018 aero package. This change was made due to the poor quality of racing at short tracks and road courses last year. Thank you all for checking in on this new page and remember to keep coming back for more off season updates.

Hello all and welcome back to the first official Kenston NASCAR page where we will keep you up to date with all of the results from each week.

Good afternoon folks and today we have some new news regarding the racing for the 2020 season. In 2020 the third stage has been shortened In a few select races including Daytona, Talladega, Atlanta, Texas, Darlington, Phoenix, New Hampshire, Dover, Richmond, and Pocono (Pictured below). These changes were made due to the different fuel economy of the 550 Horsepower package that the cars currently have. NASCAR has also discussed about adding a fourth stage to all races but the only race with four stages in the 2020 season is the Coke-Cola 600. Some other news that was conformed today was that the NASCAR Xfinity Series will be running the 14-turn road coarse at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There also will be no changes to Xfinity Series aero package for the 2020 season.Stage-length-changes-2020

January 23, 2020

Hello all and welcome to the first official Kenston NASCAR page where we will keep you up to date with all of the results from each week.

A new season is just on the verge of starting with only 24 days left in the off season! This off season has been especially interesting with the seven time champion Jimmie Johnson announcing His retirement after the 2020 season. Lets all hope that he can get that eighth championship before he goes! Also after a long search Daniel Suarez has finally landed a ride with the #96 team for the 2020 season. Daniel’s previous ride was in the #41 car for Stewart-Haas Racing although it was only a one year deal. There are three Xfinity Series drivers making the big step up to the Cup Series this year, Tyler Reddick who was previously in the #2 Xfinity car for Richard Childress Racing will now be in the #8 Cup Series car for……. Yep you guessed it, Richard Childress Racing! Christopher Bell who was previously in the #20 Xfinity car for Joe Gibbs Racing will now be in the #95 Cup Series car for Leavine Family Racing. Cole custer who was previously in the #00 Xfinity car for Stewart-Haas Racing will now be in the #41 Cup Series car for Stewart-Haas Racing.

Thank you all for checking in on this new page and remember to keep coming back for more off season updates.
