Taking a walk.

During this pandemic, it seems like it is almost impossible to do anything. While all the shops and restaurants are not in business, the walking trail at your local park might be booming! Many people of all ages are getting outside and enjoying the great outdoors. Some have even said that there have never been more people on the trails. Nancy Rodrigues, an upcoming senior at Kenston High School, states that “ she’s never been on more walks in her life!”  Although the parks are open, all playground equipment is taped off and any other pieces of workout equipment are also fenced off to keep people as safe as possible while this virus is still out and about. The metro parks still keep up signs around the park reminding people to stay six feet apart and to stay happy, healthy, and safe by following the CDC guidelines. Taking a walk with a family member is a healthy way to fight the boredom and stay active while being on lockdown.
