2020-2021 Volleyball Senior Night

Noelle Badalotti

Noelle Badalotti, accompanied this evening by her parents, Stephanie Puzzo and Adriano Badalotti. Noelle has been a 4 year member of the 4 volleyball team, playing 3 years on the JV team and one year on varsity. She has been playing volleyball since the 3rd grade. She is undecided on where to attend college next fall but plans on studying clinical psychiatry. Noelle would like to extend a huge thank you to her parents and grandpa who have never missed a game.

Emma Hershberger

Emma Hershberger, accompanied by her Mom and sister, Julie and Kate Hershberger. Emma has been a 4 year member of the volleyball team, playing 2 years on the JV team and 2 years on the varsity team. She has been playing volleyball since the 4th grade through the school and has also been on travel teams since the age of 12. After High School, Emma hopes to attend the University of Cincinnati and her major is undecided. Emma wants to say thank you to her parents, sister, teammates, and coaches throughout the years for supporting her and pushing her to do her best.

Jordan Koenig

Jordan Koenig, accompanied by her parents, Mary and Mike Koenig. Jordan has been a 4 year member of the volleyball team, playing 3 years on the JV team and 1 year on the varsity team. She has been playing volleyball ever since 5th grade. After graduation, she hopes to attend the University of Kentucky to study health science. Jordan wants to say thank you to her family, friends and especially her coaches for believing in her since day 1. To her coaches: thank you for helping when I struggled and teaching me the ways of the game and life!

Emma Lutz

Emma Lutz, accompanied by her parents, Nancy and Jeff Lutz. Emma has been a 3 year member of the volleyball team, playing 1 year on the JV team and 2 years on varsity. She is also a member of the lacrosse team here at KHS. Emma was voted a team captain this fall, has played volleyball for Kenston since the 4th grade and JO volleyball since 5th grade. Upon graduation, she plans on attending a 4 year university and is unsure what she will major in.

Gillian Oakes

Gillian Oakes, accompanied tonight by her parents, Amy Hazle-Oakes and Tim Oakes. Gillian is a 4 year member of the volleyball team, playing 1 year on the JV team and the past 3 years on varsity. Gillian has previously been named All Western Reserve Conference Honorable Mention twice and a scholar athlete. She is also one of the team’s captains for this season. Next fall, Gillian plans on a attending a 4 year University to study business. She wants to thank her parents, teammates and coaches for supporting her throughout the years and pushing her to be the best player possible. Gillian would like to thank her coaches for teaching her to love this sport. And a big thank you to her family, sister and friends for always supporting her and loving her through anything.

Grace Roberts

Grace Roberts, accompanied by her parents, Carrie and Mike Roberts. Grace is a 3 year member of the volleyball team, but unfortunately not able to play this fall due to an arm injury. She has been a part of the Kenston volleyball program since first grade. She plans on attending a 4 year college next fall to major in accounting. Grace wants to say thank you to her coaches and parents for giving her the best two years of high school volleyball! A thank you as well to the coaches this year for letting her still be a part of the team this season!

Leilah Shafer

Leilah Shafer, accompanied this evening by her parents, Dianne and Bryon Shafer. Leilah has been a 3 year member of the volleyball team, playing 2 years on JV and 1 year on the varsity team. She is also a member of the swimming team at KHS. Leilah has been playing volleyball since the 4th grade and has spent many years playing JO. Next fall, she hopes to attend Miami University to major in psychology. She would like to thank her parents, sister, teammates, and all of her coaches for pushing her to be the player that she is today.
