The Kenston offense can shred teams in a myriad of ways, whether it’s passing or running.
You can now add “kicking” to the list of things opponents have to worry about when facing the Bombers.
In a 40-13 win over North on Sept. 10, senior kicker Parker Munday had field goals of 44 and 49 yards. Both kicks had plenty of room to spare if they were attempted from further away.
“I haven’t had a weapon like that since I’ve been here, someone who can boot the ball from outside the 25 yard-line like that,” Coach Jeff Grubich said. “It’s good to have him here.”
It hasn’t been an easy sell, though.
Grubich said Munday is an accomplished soccer player. With that being his first love, Munday has hedged over the years of committing to the football duties.
