February 11, 2021 The Kenston Indoor Track Team competed at Spire for their third meet of the season. There were several elite performances for both the boys and girls. The boys 4×800 placed second overall in 8:20.21. Placing third in the 400m was Will Lauer. He ran a blistering time of 52.74 seconds, which is now his lifetime best. Another PR was set by Braden Hunt in the 800m. Braden led the pack for the majority of the race, and ended up placing third in a time of 2:01.91. Just a few seconds behind Braden was Dennis Princic with an official PR of 2:05.61, though he split a time of 2:02.8 earlier that night in the Boys 4×800 relay. Clinching the win in the 1600 with a strong kick was Garrett McConnell in a time of 4:37.44. Freshman Kyle McMahan also set a PR in the 1600 with a time of 4:54.42. Leading the Bombers in the 3200 was Owen Orlowski in 10:23.26.
Paige Masson set a new indoor school record and placed third overall for the girls in the 400 with an impressive time of 1:00.28. Katy Klotz tied her PR in the mile in 5:53. Another school record was broken by Cece Paglia in the 3200. She placed second overall and ran a fantastic time of 11:33.76. Freshman Emerson Greene also dipped under the previous record with a time of 11:35.82. The girls 4×800 relay team also won the meet with a commanding lead of over 2 minutes.
January 28th, the Kenston indoor track team competed at Spire. There were several great performances for both the boys and girls all the way from freshman to seniors.
