NEOITC All-Star Meet 2020

On February 21st, the boys indoor track team competed in the NEOITC All-Star Meet. 24 athletes in each event qualified for the meet. Will Lauer placed 13th in  long jump with 19-00. Ty Yurkovich finished 10th in the 400m with a time of 53.98 and 19th in the 200m with a time of 25.18. In the 800m, Casey Pleune finished 15th overall with a time of 2:06.00, followed by Luke Dunnam in 17th (2:07.65) and Will Lauer in 18th (2:09.52). In the 1600m, David Rosinski finished 2nd (4:28), Braden Hunt in 7th (4:40), and Tyler McMahan in 14th (4:46.). Six boys from Kenston competed in the 3200m. Finishing in first place overall was Dennis Princic with a time of 9:48, followed by Garrett McConnell in 5th (10:00), Nathan Bertman in 9th (10:07), Max Reardon in 10th (10:18), Braden Hunt in 12th (10:22), and Owen Orlowski in 22nd (10:48). Finally, the 4x400m relay of Ty Yurkovich, Will Lauer, Luke Dunnam, and Tyler McMahan placed 15th with a time of 3:47.51. The All-Star Meet was the last chance for these athletes to qualify for the Indoor Track State Meet on Saturday, March 7th. Athletes looking to qualify include the 4x800m relay, Dennis Princic in the 3200m, and David Rosinski in the 1600m. David has his fingers crossed that he will qualify, saying, “The State Meet is a strong competition, and I am excited to race!”

Gymnastics Districts Meet
